On February 18th, Manilia time, 55BMW the NBA All-Star Slam Dunk Contest, Mike McClung defended the Slam Dunk Contest champion.
ããPlayers participating in this dunk contest include: Jaylen Brown (Celtics), Jacob Toppin (Knicks), Huskers? (Heat) and Mike McClung (G-League).
ããThe judges of the slam dunk contest are: Gary Payton, 2004 dunk champion Fred Jones, Richmond, 1977 dunk champion Hillman, and Dominic Wilkins.
ããHuskers first appeared and dunked on O’Neal and scored 47.4 points. Jacob Toppin dunked on his own brother before dunking to defeat the champion Obi Toppin and scored 47.8 points. Jaylen Brown folded the windmill and scored 49 points. McClung scored 48 points with a hovering back dunk.
In the second dunk, Huskers scored 46.8 points with a 360-degree pull-bar, Jacob Toppin scored 47.2 points with a 360-degree change of hands in the air, McClung scored 49.4 points with a 180-degree pull-bar back dunk after hovering in the air, and Jaylen Brown flew over one person. Forgot to cover his eyes and got 47.6 points.
Jaylen Brown entered the finals with a total score of 96.6 points and McClung with a total score of 97.4 points.
ããIn the first dunk of the final, Jaylen Brown scored 48.6 points in a 360-degree windmill, and McClung flew over the two of them to complete the windmill and scored 48.8 points.
In the second dunk of the final, Jaylen Brown flew over Mitchell with special gloves and scored 49.2 points, while McClung flew over O’Neal and completed a pull-bar back dunk and scored 50 points.
In the end, McClung successfully won the championship of this year’s All-Star Slam Dunk Contest and completed the defense of his title.
